Axxiem was founded in 2004 and went virtual long before the rest of the world. Our business consultants, UI designers, project managers, helpdesk and server admins are spread across the United States, while coders, QA and tech support are in our offices in India. Regardless of where they sit, we are one team. We call New York home.
AxxiemWebSolutions was created by Susan Lewenz. Her third startup, Susan established Axxiem with a focus on improving communications among growth companies. As our portfolio illustrates, Axxiem has worked with a lot of companies in many industries, including Biotech, Construction, Legal, Consulting, Green Technologies, Non-Profits, local business and trades. Axxiem’s clients include leading biopharma companies, including: Basking Biosciences, Nerviano Medical Sciences S.r.l., SELLAS Life Sciences, Immunophotonics, Oligomerix, PRISM BioLab, Treventis Corporation, and many others.Â

Over the years, Axxiem has worked with many biotech, medical device, healthcare and other life science organizations and projects helping each to best convey their stories on the web.
At Axxiem, we take the time to understand the science, philosophy and corporate culture, as well as business objectives. We analyze and come to understand the target audience’s motivations and objectives. This all comes together to produce not only sites that engage and tell the tale at the appropriate level, but very often, produce collateral for offline use, such as scientific and investor presentations.
While not all of these ventures made it, we are happy to say that many went on to achieve their objectives, including making important scientific contributions as well as achieving set commercial objectives.
Green Technology
Since our inception, Axxiem has been working with companies and organizations involved in the “green sector” on best practices for utilizing the web to grow their businesses and advance their cause. We began with visionary HVAC clients and builders and grew to work with larger policy groups and non-profits. Our goal is to use our experience, knowledge and our passion in this industry, utilizing all the tools the web has to offer.
We have a long history with the trades and helping local American companies go green and compete green. We take our role as their marketing arm very seriously and are honored to be a part of their team.
Non-Profits and Foundations
The objective of our program, AxxiCARE, is to assist selected non-profit organizations to effectively use digital marketing solutions in their work. From better informing the public and their member audiences, to community awareness and fundraising, AxxiCARE seeks to help non-profit and educational organizations benefit from the fast-changing technologies available to them. For each project selected, AxxiCARE develops a budget based on need for each participant, ranging from deeply discounted to complete pro bono support.
