Cara Therapeutics is an emerging biotechnology company focused on developing novel therapeutics to treat human diseases associated with pain and inflammation.
The challenge was to design and develop a site that would speak to both scientific and lay audiences, including media and potential investors as well as speaking to potential career candidates.
Custom medical animations were developed to help illustrate in 20 second clips the company's important work. The original site, designed for the client at startup over 10 years ago was was awarded Best Biotech Website in 2006 from the Web Marketing Association. Axxiem has updated and redesigned the site over the years.
